The Lovvorn story began in the 1980s with one man, a commitment to quality, and a belief that every homeowner deserved exceptional craftsmanship. For more than forty years, Nathan B. Lovvorn — Founder, Licensed Home Builder, and Master Carpenter — has earned the trust of homeowners through integrity, honesty, and meticulous attention to detail.
Over the years, Nathan built more than beautiful homes. He built relationships. He built confidence. He built a reputation families could trust. Today, that commitment continues through LCI Design + Build, where experience meets innovation and tradition meets the next generation.

The greatest legacies are not simply preserved — they are expanded. Nathan is joined by his wife, Renae, and their sons, Caleb and Jacob. Together, they combine specialized expertise with a shared commitment to excellence, offering clients something increasingly rare: a family personally invested in every phase of the build.

Nathan B. Lovvorn

Nathan began his career with Doster Construction in 1986, later graduating from Auburn University in 1993 then earning his Home Builders License in 1996. Since completing his first project in the Hollywood section of Homewood, AL that same year, Nathan has spent decades delivering transformative renovations and premier custom homes throughout the Greater Birmingham area. In the past forty plus years he has refined his approach to every aspect of custom home building- from site development and structural integrity to craftsmanship, project management, and most importantly, client relationships. His philosophy has been passed to his two sons and is the cornerstone of Lovvorn Companies Integrated, LLC.
Renae P. Lovvorn
Director of Interior Design & Lifestyle Planning

Renae manages project accounts and often works directly with clients to help design and plan their personal spaces within each project. She helps homeowners envision how they will live in a home for years to come, ensuring each space is refined, functional, and unmistakably personal. Renae began her journey with Nathan in 1999, grounding her deeply in the company’s philosophy and foundation of both integrity and quality.
Caleb P. Lovvorn
Director of Site Development, Project Operations & Drone Imaging

Caleb Lovvorn is the Logistics Coordinator for Lovvorn Companies Integrated, LLC, while also serves full-time as a Homewood Firefighter and Paramedic since 2021. He graduated with honors from Jacksonville State University in 2024 and earned his Masters in 2026, both in Emergency Management. Caleb brings his public safety background to each project by overseeing equipment transfer and managing job site safety measures to help ensure they stay organized, safe and on schedule.
Jacob B. Lovvorn
Custom Home Designer • Floor Plan & Cabinet Design Specialist

Jacob Lovvorn shapes design, project development and project management for Lovvorn Companies Integrated. He graduated first in his class from Jefferson State in 2023, earning degrees in Architectural Design and Construction Management. In 2025 he earned his Business Management degree with honors from Mississippi State University. Jacob combines architectural Design and functionality with business strategy to carry a project from initial design concept through completion.
